Despite the U.S. government’s nearly century-long prohibition of the plant, cannabis is nonetheless one of the most investigated therapeutically active substances in history.
Scientific studies of the cannabis plant have now identified over 60 unique, active cannabinoids – such as THC, THCV, CBD, THCA, CBC, and CBG, among others – many of which possess distinctive and important therapeutic properties.
