Who Opposes Amendment 64… A Peek Behind The Curtain Of Greed | Marijuana.com

Who Opposes Amendment 64… A Peek Behind The Curtain Of Greed | Marijuana.com

How typical that the main opponents to marijuana legalization are the ones benefiting by the laws they keep innocent kids and drug rehab facilities, just so they can make a few extra million dollars…Shame on these two old grandparents.

As the November vote nears for Colorado, let’s take a quick peek behind the curtain at those who oppose ‘Amendment 64’ and the common sense marijuana laws that Colorado is seeking.

I’ve recently been informed of a group called “Smart Colorado” which is dead set against recreational marijuana laws, and how it may adversely affect their business model. The interesting thing about some of the financial backers of this group calling themselves ‘Smart Colorado,’ is that they also happened to be the owners of a state sanctioned drug rehabilitation facility.

Pain Eraser By Kinetic: A Lab Formulated Topical Spray | Marijuana.com

In a day and age of over-the-counter prescription pills, I would much rather use pain eraser by kinetic, as a means of alleviating my daily joint pain and arthritis.

After an active day of surfing my shoulders tend to be sore and tender from the arthritis that I suffer, Pain eraser, which is a cannabis-based medicinal spray really did the job in relieving my aches and pains.

If you suffer, the way I do, from the effects of aging and the activities that you've enjoyed throughout a long and active life. Then I suggest checking out kinetics website and taking a look at some of their wonderful, holistic, cannabis -based products.

"Top 50 Most Influential Pot Smokers" Marijuana Policy Project Slammed By Fox News / Bill O'Reilly | Marijuana.com

"Top 50 Most Influential Pot Smokers" Marijuana Policy Project Slammed By Fox News / Bill O'Reilly | Marijuana.com

Part-time right wing douche bag, and full-time political hack, Bill O'Reilly exposed his ignorance… yet again last Thursday night. Mr. O'Reilly took the marijuana policy projects "top 50 most influential marijuana users" list and began to use it as the basis of his slam against the organization.

1. President: Barack Obama
2. Supreme Court judge: Clarence Thomas
3. President: Bill Clinton
4. President: George Bush
5. Most decorated Olympian ever: Michael Phelps
6. Speaker of the house: Newt Gingrich
7. Comedian: John Stewart
8. Billionaire : George Soros
9. Microsoft owner: Bill Gates
10. Actor: George Clooney

Missing the point completely, that responsible marijuana use is anything but harmful to society, as is evident by the contributions (with the exception of Newt Gingrich) that each of these people have made to society.Despite the fact that they were also stoners.

As is true with alcohol… There are those that use pot at the end of the day to wash away the anxiety and stress of daily life. Then there are those who choose to abuse it, the same way they do any other substance that is limited by only free will and good decisions.

Instead Mr. O'Reilly took the marijuana policy Project to task, claiming that their message was “pot for everyone.” As a means of perverting and twisting the very logical argument that responsible drug use does not make a person a criminal; and that jailing peaceful, productive people over how they choose to relax in the privacy of their own home , is absolute insanity.

L.A. County District Attorney Candidates: Both Vow To Rid L.A. Of Medical Marijuana Collectives | Marijuana.com

As the Thursday night debate for Los Angeles County Dist. Atty.'s top position -- between Deputy Dist. Atty. Alan Jackson and chief Deputy Dist. Atty. Jackie Lacey heated up, one thing became painfully clear.

These to Steve Cooley clones are both intent on carrying out their current boss’s campaign of hatred and fear, against LA counties medicalmarijuana collectives.

How is this a choice?

Nor Cal Smoke Shop: The Best Collection Of High End Glass On The Central Coast | Marijuana.com

It’s early Monday morning and I’ve just gotten back from the Monterey Peninsula. It was a mad dash up Highway 1… in a weak and feeble attempt at escaping the 103° heat… of a sweltering Southern California weekend.

As summer ends, and fall approaches… October is just about here. And we all know what that means, it’s almost harvest time. Because of this fact – when I was faced with the weatherman’s forecast for this weekend (mid 100°) — heading up to Monterey, to check on several of my friends and take a few photos seemed like a sound idea.

Little did I know that I would stumble into a glass lovers Nirvana

Why Was Marijuana Made Illegal? Greed, Bigotry And Fear | Marijuana.com

Why Was Marijuana Made Illegal? Greed, Bigotry And Fear | Marijuana.com

Marijuana is the drug of choice, used by the vast Americans that choose to use recreational drugs at all. Last year less than 2 million people used, or experimented with cocaine, less than 400,000 people tried heroin, but more than 28 million people smoke a joint or otherwise consumed marijuana last year alone. By virtue of these numbers, it is the federal government's position that unless they’ve stopped recreational marijuana smokers from consuming smoking pot, then they've lost the war on drugs.

Arizona Department of Health Services Prepares To Yank Marijuana Cards From Patients | Marijuana.com

Arizona Department of Health Services Prepares To Yank Marijuana Cards From Patients | Marijuana.com

Gov. Jan giveth, Gov. Jan taketh away

Since Jan Brewer and her attorney general were not able to stop the state’s voters from approving Arizona's medical marijuana law. They have sent the Arizona Department of Health services main man, rules administrator, Tom Salow rifling through the backgrounds of Arizona's caregivers, searching for that needle in a haystack. A violent crime history, that went undisclosed on a document, or perhaps a past, which involved some type of illicit drug, or violent crime history.

While voters passed the Arizona medical marijuana law back in 2010, it was designed to allow people with certain incapacitating ailments, including HIV AIDS waste syndrome, cancer, muscle spasms and most notablychronic pain. While they've had over two years to try and put together a cohesive system, that operated in a timely manner. The ADHS director stated that the agency is bogged down in a backlog of anxious patients seeking the states authorization to enjoy the medicinal benefits of a God given plant.

Marijuana Movie Review: California 90420 | Marijuana.com

Marijuana Movie Review: California 90420 | Marijuana.com

For those of us in the medical marijuana community hiding for last 12 months, here's a great opportunity to catch up on the plate of the Oaksterdam college located in downtown Oakland which is been the constant source of unwanted attention from all branches of the federal government.

Richard Lee the founder of Oaksterdam has been investigated by the IRS and demonized by the Department of Justice, this unassuming paraplegic who was done nothing more than grow the medicine that he needs to relieve his constant aches and pains.

CA 90420 tells the inside tail of the MM J community and its struggles to become legitimized commodity. New no different than any other sin or vice. As a matter of fact it's about 10 times better than any over-the-counter pill, alcohol or cigarettes that most people turn to when they're feeling the stress of daily life.

CA: Court Confirms Long Beach Medical Marijuana Collective Ban Unlawful | Marijuana.com

CA: Court Confirms Long Beach Medical Marijuana Collective Ban Unlawful | Marijuana.com

I'm pretty sure everyone in California, at least those with in the medical marijuana community feel that the four state attorney generals are in the pocket of big pharmaceutical companies. Once we get past the November election, it is the general consensus within the medical marijuana community that big pharmaceutical companies will step in and take over with the help of the federal government.

Since the American public sentiment is over 70% in favor of medical marijuana, and the federal government hates the marijuana plant, yet holds a patent to all of its cannabinoids worth hundreds of billions of dollars. If I were a betting man... I'd take the action on the next president, regardless of who it is rescheduling marijuana, and leasing their patents to American pharmaceutical companies and raking in profits off the plant they said had no medicinal value.

With that said and done the prohibition of this "plant" will come back with a vengeance. In the meantime both the Long Beach and Los Angeles city Council are fighting the tide of public sentiment, which is a losing battle.

Upset Pro Marijuana Vote Could Cost Obama The Elecetion | Marijuana.com

Things are getting scary for Obama... I wonder if he regrets sending his goose-stepping goons from the DOJ and the DEA in to bust, harass and otherwise intimidate these legal medical marijuana collectives until they went out of business. As Gary Johnson, Ron Paul -- and now even Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan hopped on the vote getting, marijuana supporting, bandwagon...at least until the elections over now him...

Los Angeles Pot Club Ban "On Hold" | Marijuana.com

Los Angeles Pot Club Ban "On Hold" | Marijuana.com

As thousands of these, not so discreet marijuana collectives cultivated deep roots throughout the city. It was not hard to pick out these collectives with their distinctive “green cross” hidden within the strip malls throughout the city.

Frustrated, disgusted and outmaneuvered by the marijuana advocates, the city officials threw up their hands in utter dismay; then after a mind numbing series of never ending meetings – community gatherings – illegal police raids – and countless expensive lawsuits. The city Council had grown tired of the cat and mouse game, and passed in a 14 to 0 vote the ban that would do away with medical marijuana in the city of Los Angeles… Or at least so they thought.

Arkansas: Conservative Group Seeks To Block Medical Marijuana Vote | Marijuana.com

Arkansas: Conservative Group Seeks To Block Medical Marijuana Vote | Marijuana.com

A conservative Arkansas group seeking to prevent the state from becoming the first in the U.S. South to allow medical marijuana filed a lawsuit on Friday to knock a pot-as-medicine proposal off the November election ballot.

The lawsuit filed in the state Supreme Court by the Coalition to Preserve Arkansas Values argues the ballot's title, the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act, is misleading and the act itself hard to understand at 8,000 words long.

"By introducing more addictive substances into society, it is a family values issue," said Jerry Cox, president of the Family Council Action Committee of Arkansas, part of the coalition seeking to block the measure.

The move illustrates the deep misgivings about medical cannabis in the country's traditionally more conservative South, even as 17 other states mostly in the Northeast and West allow the drug for medical purposes. California voters first took that step in 1996.

The battle over medical pot in Arkansas comes as voters in Washington state, Colorado and Oregon are set to decide in November on whether to legalize recreational use of the drug. Massachusetts will also have a medical pot ballot measure.
