Concentrate On Your Future | Marijuana.com
As we sit perched… poised at the edge of time, staring into the abyss of December 22nd, and the projected Apocalypse; the fast-growing medical marijuana movement has made quantum leaps forward in their constant quest for extracting the best cannabinoids, from the finest flowers… all while making the dopest modern-day hash you have ever seen.
As the new school toolkit in for the modern-day Stoner has received a bit of a makeover lately, I hardly think Cheech or Chong would recognize today’s tools. Out… is the paraphernalia of old days – in are the new. Throw out your rolling papers and put down the hookah. Today’s Stoner is going to be cart’n around ‘Map gas’ blowtorches and other intimidating looking tools… which appear as though they should be in a dentist’s office, or ‘B’ grade horror movie. While I’m sure that every Stoner over the age of 19 – is quite clear on the reference of 420, I’m equally assure that most of the old schoolers have no clue as to the reference of 710. When turned upside down… 710 becomes OIL.
Despite the U.S. government’s nearly century-long prohibition of the plant, cannabis is nonetheless one of the most investigated therapeutically active substances in history. Scientific studies of the cannabis plant have now identified over 60 unique, active cannabinoids – such as THC, THCV, CBD, THCA, CBC, and CBG, among others – many of which possess distinctive and important therapeutic properties.

November 2012: Is Gary Johnson, Barack Obama's...Ross Perot? Why Your Pot Vote Counts! | Marijuana.com
“Pssst. Mr. President…”
Mr. Pres. I suggest you get serious on the medical marijuana issue. Stop placating… and pushing it off, as though the medical pot issue is some kind of national joke, otherwise your presidency may be the punch line. I’ve got news for you pal, these voters are pissed off and getting ready to send you packing; particularly when you have a candidate like Gary Johnson appealing to the medical marijuana base. There are currently 17 medical marijuana states including the District of Columbia. And in each instance, is filled with angry, disappointed, and disenfranchised voters. As you continue to go around the country ignoring the pleads for common sense marijuana laws, you’ve got the likes of Gary Johnson coming in behind you speaking to the people’s concerns.
So as you and Mitt Romney are busy slinging insults back and forth, the country and its medical marijuana patients are waiting for you to grow a ‘set’ and address the promises that you made back in 2008 regarding marijuana laws.
Why have you turned your back on the on the very base that help to get you elected? What truly is your agenda? America’s sick and suffering are tired of being denied a plant, a natural herb, a gift from the almighty. That has scientifically been proven to alleviate suffering.
Americans are sick and tired of seeing marijuana treated as a criminal justice issue, rather than as a healthcare issue. The country is begging…pleading – for real leadership – a president that listens to the people, empathizes with their concerns and is a man of his word.

L.A. Confidential Purple Diesel | Marijuana.com
I never would've thought that they could have improved on the LA confidential medical marijuana strain. While it's a good thing I'm not a betting man, as I would've lost a ton of money. Either I've lived in a cave for a very long time or my local collective just didn't carry this strain out of fear of repercussions from and acronyms. LAPD is a kick ass marijuana strain that I'd never heard of until reading a recent blog post.
Next time I'm on WeedMaps you can bet I'll be checking the marijuana strain exchange for LA confidential purple diesel… I can't wait to see what it's gain / loss will be on this marijuana stock exchange.

Report Shows Synthetic Marijuana Linked To Psychosis | Marijuana.com
Not that most need much of a heads up on synthetic marijuana — but a new published report from the “Journal of forensic science” goes into great detail as to the risks associated with smoking spice, or synthetic marijuana, as it’s more commonly known. The primary issue that these reports site is the lack of consistency in the active ingredients they use as a means to simulate marijuana. In addition to the ever rotating active ingredient list, they also suffer a serious labeling deficiency as to the quantity and chemical types within each brand of synthetic marijuana. The lack of consistency and quantity in any given product has the end result of the person consuming this synthetic garbage without being aware of exactly how much to consume, or what the outcome (quality of high ) might be.

Paul Volcker And George Schultz ...Time To Re-Think The "War on Drugs." | Marijuana.com
As most forward thinking leaders understand, regulating marijuana for legal adults around the world could help make a public health approach to the “true” drug addiction problem a much more manageable issue. At least that was the message from many of the senior member’s of the global commission on drug policy, who congregated in N.Y.C. last June 2nd.

Ice Cube to Chris Tucker: Let's ‘Fire Up’ ...It's ‘Friday' | Marijuana.com
“I know you don’t smoke weed, I know this; but I’m gonna get you high today, ’cause it’s Friday; you ain’t got no job… and you ain’t got sh*t to do.”… Smokey
While Cube confirmed his intention on Sways radio show, ‘Sway in the morning’ he went on to mention that this project was still in the early stages and had many obstacles that needed to be overcome. The least of which was Chris Tucker’s recent conversion to Christianity and whether or not that would get in the way of him reprising his role as the ever chronically challenged Smokey.

Honey – Plus – Cannabinoids = Nectar of The God’s | Marijuana.com
Honey – Plus – Cannabinoids = Nectar of The God’s | Marijuana.com
Throughout humankind raw natural honey has been known to be rich in antibacterial, antifungal as well as antiviral compounds. Sit back and envision this – What if you mixed nature’s natural antibacterial properties with that of the raw, active ingredients of marijuana, i.e. cannabinoids?
Much like with marijuana, the health benefits of honey — as is true with all foods — tends to depend on the quality of the product. Raw honey – for example – contains approximately 80-90% carbohydrates in the form of fructose and glucose, 18 different organic acids types, small quantities of proteins and amino acids. As well as minerals, enzymes and a host of vitamins such as B1, B12, C,D, and E. When these two natural titans of the health food world come together… they become the “Nectar of the God’s.” One does not need to be on the heavenly clouds of Olympus to enjoy this juice of the deities.
Now – for the first time the “Nectar of the God’s” has been handed down to us mortals within the medical marijuana community.

Arkansas Medical Marijuana Initiative Cultivates Strong Ballot Support | Marijuana.com
Well, well, well… It looks like Arkansas is taking a step into the 21st century, after sitting around for years and watching all of the other medical marijuana states reap the benefits of legalizing medical marijuana for state sanctioned patients, they stand a very good chance of passing a voter approved initiative. The recent effort by “Arkansans for compassionate care” handed over to the Arkansas Secretary of State another 73,000 signatures… and many within the Arkansas for compassionate care group calculate that this should be more than enough signatures to qualify their initiative for the November elections.

Marijuana Smoke and Pregnancy | Marijuana.com
Marijuana Smoke and Pregnancy | Marijuana.com
Contrary to mainstream medicinal advice, marijuana and its smoke can be a relatively benign substance for certain pregnancy symptoms, including morning sickness, mood swings and all the related pains.
With all of the substances that today’s female take into their bodies during pregnancy is marijuana smoke truly one of the bigger concerns for the unborn child. Is it truly fair to cast marijuana as the head demon of all of these substances? Mainstream medicine certainly seems to want to air on the side of caution regarding this topic. Many medical sources state that cannabis use may cause premature babies, while others have more dire warnings of behavioral and learning disabilities.
While that may be well and good for those that would like to cast aspersions based on ignorance, the facts to support this assumption are hard to find.

…not quite so funny when you’re the one being denied your medicine!
While it’s only taken a little over two years for the Commissioner of the garden state’s health department, Mary O’Dowd, who stated yesterday “that right now, today… a patient which has gone through the process of finding a physician which agrees with marijuana, as a medicinal remedy for their current ailment – and for which they have been in a long-term “bona-fide patient physician relationship” with – will now be able to have their physician register them with the state of New Jersey’s medical marijuana program. The patient would then receive an ID number that would be given to them by their doctor, and through the state of New Jersey. Once the patient has this ID number they can simply fire off the information in an e-mail to the state of New Jersey. Who will put together their brand-new medical marijuana ID card for them.
