DEA Imprisons College Student for 5 Days Without Food or Water | Marijuana.com
For 23-year-old UCSD student Daniel Chong, a little after a super private 4/20 celebration converted into a freaking nightmare when the DEA agents raided the apartment where he was smoking cannabis with buddies in recognition from the “high holiday,” required him into custody of the children, after which left him alone for pretty much 5 days inside a five-feet by 10-feet holding cell. Mr. Chong remained without food, water, and then any connection with the outdoors world.
“They never returned, overlooked my cries and that i still have no idea what went down,” Chong described in a press conference following his ordeal. “I’m unsure the way they could forget me.”
Instructed to drink their own urine to remain hydrated, Chong reported he could hear DEA employees within the general vicinity, and couldn’t realise why they'd ignore his pleas for help.
Federal authorities detained seven folks total in the apartment in College City, California where Chong was taken into custody of the children, and claim that they can have grabbed weapons, ammunition, as well as other illicit drugs in their operation. Following the raid, all individuals suspects were moved into separate holding cells inside a DEA office in Kearny Mesa for questioning.
